Monitor and train production workers and assist them with their job to achieve production standards and goals.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Document employees to timesheets and require that the time clocks are used.
* Set up, operate, and adjust all equipment dryer and infusion to meet production and quality requirements.
* Train dryer employees and infusion employees to ensure all jobs are being done safely and correctly.
* Ensures team members’ development needs are identified and improved.
* Check email and production schedules every day for any instructions and changes.
* Verify and record dryer and infusion are achieving KPI from action item list hourly.
* Ensure daily supplies, (hairnets, gloves, etc.
) are available to line employees and that GMPs are being followed.
* Regularly check moisture and Aw levels and react accordingly to achieve desired results for the specific product being produced.
* Ensure all finished product is documented and accounted for on the production reports example re-work, daily product usage, action item list and ignition report.
* Help relieve rotation through breaks, lunch and fill in when needed.
* Adjust settings on the equipment to achieve product quality and production goals.
Document changes on the dryer settings paperwork.
* Contact and make a work order for maintenance to direct them to areas that are in need of repair.
Make any minor running repairs and adjustments to equipment.
* Ensure all employees have the correct tools to perform their job.
* Maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
Report any safety hazards to shift manager.
* Ensure all the production areas are kept in an organized and clean condition at all times, notify manager if any spills or damage occurs in the areas.
* Keep the outside areas neat and clean by stacking pallets and bins in an orderly manner.
Keep all areas free of trash and debris.
* Monitor employee performance, and take corrective action with manager direction if deficiencies exist.
* Oversee dryer and infusion clean up (CIP’s) and sanitation activities to minimize downtime.
* Verify all QC checks are being performed correctly and on a timely manner.
* Monitoring temperatures at the bottling process and reporting data.
* Generating and tagging bins for resort.
* Other duties assigned by your manger.
*Position Qualifications:*
* Ability to read, write, and comprehend English or Spanish.
* Knowledge of and ability to use MS Office and famous software and standard office equipment.
* Ability to communicate effectively in one on one and small group situations.
* Basic math skills including, fractions, decimals, ratio and percentages.
* Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
* Ability to plan, organize, and anticipate work activities.
Ability to interpret and meet quality specifications and production requirements.
* Bilingual skills are essential for clear communication with employees.
* Good attendance record and able to work overtime and weekends.
* Safety conscious at all times.
Require others to perform in a safe manner.
* Forklift certification.
*Education/Experience:*
* High school diploma, GED or equivalent related experience.
* Must possess a valid forklift certification card and experience driving a 3-stage forklift in a closed environment.
* Must be able to read, write and communicate in English and Spanish.
