*Position Summary:* This position will be responsible for reconciling the balance sheet, preparing monthly financial analysis reports, assisting in the development and maintenance of budgets for each department, and generating cost reports.
Additionally, this position will manage tracking of all farm inventories and expenses related to growing crops.
*Duties and Responsibilities:* * Manages receipts and tracking of inventory during harvest season, as well as deliveries to packing facilities, reconciliation of farm weights to packhouse weights and reconciliations within accounting system.
* Track fertilizer, chemical, supplies, and fuel inventories, while reconciling usages and materials and coding applications by block within the accounting system.
* Complete monthly cost build-up by block and analyze against budget.
* Monthly revenue and receivable reconciliations * Monthly net realizable value (NRV), COGS and Inventory reconciliations to better understand gross margins vs budget.
* Manages and reviews bi-weekly payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions to ensure that: o Invoices are issued and paid in a timely manner.
o Receivables are collected promptly.
o Payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner.
* Oversees daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
* Oversees daily accounts receivable functions, assisting with reconciliations and collections as required.
* Deposits payroll taxes and prepares all quarterly and annual payroll tax returns and forms in keeping with state and federal requirements.
* Prepares and files monthly state excise tax returns.
* Coordinates the information to external auditors for annual audit.
* Reconciles company 401K records with quarterly trust reports.
* Reviews bi-weekly 401K deposits * Provides monthly reporting of departmental expenses as compared to budget.
* Reconciles and records all fixed asset purchases on an ongoing basis and tracks depreciation.
* Oversees, assists with, and reviews monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Manages and assists in carrying out monthly closing processes.
* Prepares monthly financial reports.
* Maintains an orderly accounting filing system.
* Assists with development and maintenance of a system of controls over accounting transactions.
* Manages farm annual budgeting process.
* Coordinates and monitors routine online banking functions, including credit cards, ACH positive pay, positive pay, transfers, ACH and wire templates, and employee access.
* Prepares annual 1099 filings.
* Helps develop and document processes to increase efficiency in daily and monthly accounting functions.
* Manage all onboarding and offboarding activities and maintain current employee files.
* Provide monthly KPIs to Royal Ridge Farms CEO *Secondary Responsibilities* * Participates in additional projects and initiatives as determined by management.
* Seek and attend trainings to stay current on relevant changes in industry.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

*Education/Experience:* * Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field * Five (5) years’ of experience in accounting and experience working in a professional office environment * Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; and other standard office equipment, Famous software preferred * Advanced Excel skills preferred *Physical Abilities:* *Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to:* * sit for prolonged periods of time; * walk and climb stairs; * operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; * utilize verbal and written communication to exchange information * clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors * occasionally stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; * lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 10 pounds; *Mental & Other Skills/Abilities:* * Adaptability: ability to adapt to changes, delays or unexpected events in the work environment; ability to manage competing demands and prioritize tasks; ability to change approach or method to best fit the situation and meet deadlines.

*Work Environment:* While performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.
00 - $110,000.
