The Quality Assurance Manager will embrace passion and collaboration while leading QA team members and their activities.
Build out, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) system.
Represent the company during audits and visits from customers, vendors, and certifying bodies.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
-Manages quality assurance team and ongoing quality assurance activities.
-Represents the company with customers, vendors, and certifying bodies.
-Defines Advanced Product Quality Plan (APQP) milestones and timelines and manages activities interdepartmentally.
-Communicates and negotiates with customers on quality requirements and timelines.
-Develops and tracks KPIs for quality assurance systems.
-Supports manufacturing schedule by managing QA team resources.
-Ensures nonconformances are processed, root cause analyses performed, and corrective and preventative actions created and tracked to completion.
-Maintains and improves internal audit program.
-Develops and delivers training materials as needed.
-Supports product and process improvement projects.
-Develops quality systems and reviews and challenges existing quality systems.
-Collaborates cross functionally on quality issues.
-Challenges process designs to ensure manufacturability, safety, and effectiveness of products.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
-Experience in automotive quality systems.
-Experience scaling and bringing products to market preferred.
-10+ years of quality assurance experience.
-8+ years supervisory experience.
-Advanced degree preferred.
-Experience with ISO9001, APQP, PPAP, and IATF 16949.
-Experience conducting quality investigations, root cause analysis, and quality risk assessment.
-Strong attention to detail and organization.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Experience with MasterControl and SAP is a plus.
-Strong team player who effectively collaborates with internal departments.

The base pay range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000.
Actual pay depends on various factors, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
