General Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for understanding customers' needs and assisting with proper product selection, use-based agronomic needs, and maintaining and developing profitable customer relationships.
Key Skills, Abilities and Requirements:
Knowledge and/or experience in Agriculture, Business, or a related field
Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship skills
Proficiency in understanding agricultural products and basic agronomy
Effective communication skills
Regularly evaluating the performance of the inside sales team
Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
Ability to travel to locations when needed (<10%)

Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:
Pre-season customer analytics (identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities)
In-season customer outreach & order-taking
Perform outbound calling to take customer orders based on sales history
Pre-season, analyze customers’ sales history to identify opportunities for cross-or upselling across the W-E portfolio of products and services
Track order fulfillment and manage customer/sales data
Selection of products and services based on customer’s needs
Negotiation of pricing and terms
Customer prioritization based on lifetime value
Order issue resolution
Proficiency in understanding agricultural products and basic agronomy
Internal: DMs/sales teams, Operations, marketing (to ensure product knowledge, availability, and client satisfaction)
External: Assigned customers and leads (to establish relationships, understand needs, and close sales)
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to travel (<10%).
Compensation and Benefits
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $20.
